Can you do without TV?

Could quite easily do without a TV. A large proportion of the programmes shown are bat droppings anyway.

However, I could not do without my hi-fi, which I use everyday!

Apart from Sky Sports News I could manage without it. If you took it away even SSN would be a distant memory in afew days. Everything I need is online.

well if i had a choice of tv or pc ..then im sorry but the telly would have to go....

Telly has gone here anyway - the kids have taken it:D but i have my laptop which is all i require on it including my music hehehe:D

I could live without the TV, but I'm glad I don't have to. If I had to make a choice between the TV or the computer, the TV would win. I'd still have internet access at work ;)

I'd miss Coronation Street but that's about all.I'd probably miss the computer more.

TV wouldn't be much of a problem, perhaps a nuisance occasionally but thats about it. prefer radio,PC, n me music.:)

Could I do without it? Well, I think the answer is yes. Do I want to live without it? Well, I think the answer is no!

I have my front room set up so that I can mess about on my P.C. but I can also keep an eye on the 'magic fish tank', in the corner, I'm selective about what I'll have on in the background, (sorry ladies, if you need to keep up with the soaps not in this house you won't), but it is a nice bit of background noise that keeps me company. So other than when, like Wynonie I'm listening to my music, I would miss the box. :D

My sister and I were brought up without tv, the first one I had was when I married the first wife, she drove me to it.:D

We had no electric never mind TV.
Impossible to run on Calor Gas.
I'm curious Royboy, caravan?, we had no money and tv was in it's infacy, we did used to watch it at a friends who's dad worked in the trade, I think I would be about 10 years of age when it came on line, do you remember 'Relay Radio'?

Yes I do remember but we had a small portable radio which weighed a ton and the batteries cost a fortune.
