Well I am so looking forward to Friday 1.30pm as that is when I finish work for the Christmas break and it can’t come soon enough.
Up until last year I have always worked between Christmas and New Year, but last year the company took the decision to close. After finding out when we came back that it had no adverse effect on business it is now the norm… yippee!!
They are very good about it too. Friday pm, at my own choice I have took as annual leave, Mon & Tues are Bank Hols, Weds the company have given us an extra day’s leave and Thurs & Fri you can take either as 2 flexi’s or annual leave or one of each!!
I have managed to build my time up to take them both as flexi’s, so from lunchtime fri 23rd Dec I am off till Tues 3rd Jan and have only had to take ½ days leave… now that is not bad going
