Do you do any daft things?

I have recently become aware of one daft thing that I do. I get up and after a quick shuftie on the computer, get my breakfast, take my pills and then head for the washroom.

I clean my teeth and in doing so my hands and face get wet. I then dry my hands and face and step into the shower. Daft or what?

You are not alone jambutty, my foible is leaving home, getting a hundred yards down the road, then returning to check that I have locked the front door. This is one of many daft things I do, it must have something to do with the ageing process.

just done one now lol which i,m always doing, took oscar for a walk up owd bobs got out a fag and had left my lighter at home, not a soul around so gasped until i got back home. i call it a senior moment:D

Walking from room to room trying to remember what you got up for in the first place.!

Finding your mobile in the fridge !

i get out the wrong side of the bed sometimes not realising i have to walk all the way round the bed to get out of my bedroom instead of just getting out of it right next to the door :(

Gosh jambutty, do we only get to name one? (in response to the one about public toilets, while "standing" in fornt of an automatic urinal, I'll see how far I have to lean to get it to flush, while still managing to hold a good aim!:D )

Okay, I'll just go with my latest: Yesterda, hopped on a horse for a bit of trail-riding. As I haven't ridden in around 10 years, was daft enough to think I could handle a gallop. Well. mid gallop, the horse got spooked by my dog chasing her, she did a bunch of bucking until I was thrown over her head, landing down a hill on mostly my shoulder but also on a bit of me head.

Luckily the field was quite soft and the horse didn't stomp on my face. My friend who was practicing her dressage stuff commented that, as a granddaughter of Secretariat (the triple crown winner), "that horse does get up a pretty quick gallop"!

Yes pretty daft indeed. jambutty, I could have a daft moment of the day the way I go about this here life!

I put things in safe places but then I can't remember where the safe place is.
My missis is just like you willow , with her it's her purse, the places we have eventually found it are quite funny, she once 'lost' it with the utility cards in it, searching in the dark is not easy in winter time, the oddest place is in the folds of the open curtains. :D.

I think of this thread now when im rocking the push chair or shopping trolley whilst im chattin to someone when jacks not in it:rolleyes:
anyone else do this?

I used to find myself rocking the shopping trolly when my girls were little - I think you just get so used to doing that don't you?:D
