Which five people would you invite to your ideal dinner party? They could be dead or alive.

Mine would be-

1/ Oscar Wilde, well I relish competition.
2/Barbra Castle, because she was at the centre of an interesting time in politics, and wasn't afraid to speak her mind.
3/Alan Bennet, so Barbra would have someone else from Yorkshire to talk to.
4/Prince William, because I'm nosey, and it would be interesting to see what he was really like, plus I might be able to convert him to republicanism.
5/Jackie Kennedy, because she had substance as well as style.

steven king ,, he could do a creepy tale or two...
and micheal parkinson to spill a bit of gossip.. :alright: :balloon2:

Kurt Cobain,John Lennon,Winston Churchill,Adolf Hitler and Albert Einstein.Damn i'd have to learn German first to talk to 2 of them proper.

Dame Thora Hurd coz she was so funny.
Elvis in black leather of course to sing to us.
Hailey Mills coz she's my heroin.
Patrick swaytze coz he's sooo sexy.
And mez to keep things under controle.

What a great thread Rindy...........

Bubble from Ab Fab,(Jane Horrocks)................... because she's odd & funny
Willy Wonka...................... because he's a bit mysterious and he'd bring chocolate!!!
Robert Downy Jr................because hes good looking and I'm shallow!!
Prof Robert Winston..........Because he's amazing and I have every respect for him.
Denise Robertson (this morning's agony Aunt).................... coz it would be hillarious
watching her trying to work out the other guests!

Hayley Mills – Same reason as Anne.

Gordon Smith – Medium “Living” and Doris Stokes – Medium “Deceased” One of then knows the truth, whatever that may be.

Billy Connolly – Fantastic after dinner speaker and all round funny man.

William Shakespeare – I’d like to know where he got is information from.

What did Jimmy Somerville do to upset you???

I know he used to sing high. Did you have a dog that ran away after you played a Bronski Beat record?

I forgot you are only a young chicky, yes he was.

So what's the story???

Gosh limiting it to 5 is very difficult.

Could I have another dinner party later and invite some more?

Richard III - because I'd like to know what he was really like as opposed to the image handed down by Shakespeare.
William Shakespeare - so he can apologise to Richard III.
Mohammed - in order to clarify who may or may not be misinterpreting what he said.
Mother Theresa - to show us how to be serene.
Alice Cooper - maybe he could bring the odd snake.

ABE LINCOLN
WINSTON CHURCHILL
MARTIN LUTHER KING
GAHNDI
NELSON MANDELLA

They all fought for what they believed in in their own way and help make the world what it is today. Not all good but they give it their all.

My Mother and Father (both deceased)
My wife, who never had the chance to meet my mother and father.
My two sons because the three of us have so much to ask them.

Princess Diana - I would love to know what really happened.

Richard Gere - interesting man as well as eye candy :)

Tony Blair - there's a few things I'd like to speak to him about ;)

Sigmund Freud - his theories have me in stitches, the lil perv.

Slinky - my drinking partner :D
