I didn't get to sleep until six am, and have literally just woke up, so that's not too bad.

My dream was interupted by what I thought was a knock at the door. As the bell is broke I thought it might be for real, so dashed down stairs in the nuddy to find nobody there, thank God!

I was dreaming I was buying a flat for some reason. It was from the same people I'd bought my flat off in Glasgow, except this was in Ossy and Mum was with me.

I bought the flat I had in Glasgow off plan, after I'd had a few sticky misses with old flats and lost survey fees. The property law in Scotland is totally different, with nearly all sales going to sealed bids, and if you win it's yours and you can't back out unlike in England. The only draw back was that you have to pay for surveys on places that you may never get.

I was staying with my friend Eleanor the dentist in the swanky Westend of the city near the university, and saw a building site and a sales caravan one day when I was going to buy a paper. I decided to pop in and see how much they were.

Half an hour later, instead of a newspaper I'd bought a flat. My place in London I had loved, even though it was old, small and dark, though I did have a lovely garden. The place I'd just bought was state of the art luxury. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms, luxury kitchen with all appliances, steel, wood, glass walls, balcony, the lot. Since I'd bought off plan I choose the top floor on the corner, because I hoped it would have great views over the city, which I'm happy to say it did. I got to choose the kitchen, tiling and bathrooms because I was the first person to buy one, the bathrooms in white with black tiling was very glam.

I don't know what made me dream of this. I have no intention of ever moving again, I'm so happy in my little house over looking the ducks and geese. Weird.

Had a great time last night at the theatre with Lettie and Sparkologist. The play was really funny. It had the guy in it who used to be Hunter in Gladiators on tv, the one that Ulrikakakaka went out with. He has his head shaved now and isn't as muscle bound as he was back in the nineties. He's really grown into his skin, not a bad actor as well, he could really hold his own.;)
