Freedom Day

Overlooker
It was supposed to be 21st June....it was put back a month on dodgy statistics.
Now it is looking like it might be further postponed because of twitchy squeaky bummed professors who are neither epidemiologists or virologists.
They are saying that the NHS will not cope....yet the number of deaths remain low.
Recent studies have shown that a third of people in hospital with the virus went into hospital for something else.....and that the average current stay is 24 hours(or less in many cases).
The vaccination program rolls on and a large proportion of the population have been vaccinated...it is reported that 62% of all adults have had both jabs.

So what is the message that this gives to the population....’get jabbed, but it doesn’t protect you’
Those who are jabbed are being encouraged to still do testing.....and still have to isolate if the have a positive test...yet less than 1% are infectious(according to recent studies).

During this pandemic I have not worn a mask. I have an exemption lanyard and card.
I have taken sensible precautions.....and will continue to do so.
Come the 19th of July I was looking forward to getting on a bus and going on a much anticipated bus ride....somewhere with a pier....fish and chips, sea, sand.....ozone....a breeze to blow away the cobwebs.

And you know what...I might just go regardless.
My life has been on hold for long enough.

as far as im concerned its a case of being sensible, but there are plenty of dickheads that are not.

I consider that I have used common sense with regard to my safety.
Though I have not worn a mask,I have tried to stay healthy through other means.
The means that I use to avoid the flu every winter.
These must work because I have been out and about and I must have been in contact with people who have tested positive...or had family who have had the virus, but I have not been affected by anything.
Yes...my hay fever has been fired up since May....but in spite of itchy eyes and feeling a bit congested....that is it.

No Cashy... did not think that.
As you know I have outlined my precautions.....which both of us abide by.
I have not been able to use hand sanitising gel for some months as my hand became very sensitised to it.
I use a solution of water and tea tree and lavender....in a misting bottle.
Both of these oils have anti bacterial and anti viral properties.
My hands developed cracks in the skin and were painful...so far no store has objected to me using my own preparation...especially when they saw what the alcohol gel had done.
