Good night Mick.

Yesterday I popped in to look and see what was going on in Accyweb.
I was saddened to read of the passing of Mick.

For as long as I can remember being a member on here, Mick was a cornerstone of the site.
If I had a problem I knew that I could contact him and he would do his best to sort me out.

Mick ran the photographic competitions and provided prizes for the winners.
Mick was a good cook and would torment me with his pictures of cakes and puddings that he had made.
He knew that I had a sweet tooth and these pictures would make me drool.

He was a real gent. Good to know, a pleasure to meet.

Sadly Mick was diagnosed with a serious lung condition and life became harder for him, but he still got out and about and was never a complainer, never moaned.
I would see Mick around the market every week.
As his condition worsened I saw less of him.

So, good night Mick....you were a one off, a real joy to know.
Go and tune up the computers on the other side....and rest easy now.
Your work here is done.

its the haggis delivery Im going to miss … and the insults that he would throw at me … and when I fired back he would just mention the word absinthe …. and we'd give up and laugh … he was fun to know .. im going to miss him … the spugster he was so down in the mouth .. he was the one who told me … since sat morning every so often ive been weepy ..

Mick truly was a lovely man.
He could insult you,but in a way that you could not be offended by.
He enriched so many lives.
I am sure that he will have St Peters records on computer by now, and will be making sure that the angels rota is computerised for efficiency too.

I think there will be a 'Mick shaped' hole in all our lives for quite a while.
We were privileged to know him.

ive met some very good people in my time and Mick was up there with the best of em. am just gutted am unable to attend funeral to pay my last respects.:(
