Phew!!!! What a busy day.... I have managed to wrap my presents that need to be sent to Leicester, so I took them to the Post Office along with cards that needed posting and waved them on their merry way. I did buy extra stamps though, as I always forget at least one person.
The assignment is proof read, altered and printed, all the paperwork that goes with it is completed so I will take it to UCLAN next week and forget about it until results at the end of Jan.
I have done some last minute shopping, a new book to read on my flight tomorrow, newspapers for Sparks and some chocolate for my mum in return for looking after my wayward dog for a couple of days. I have ironed and packed so I'm basically good to go. I realised at 4pm that I hadn't bought any Euros at the Post Office. I always darned well forget something, how I ever managed to get to the other side of the world on my own mystifies me.
Anyway, all's well that ends well, I was clearing out a large handbag to use as my hand luggage and I found 65 Euros in the bottom of it.....Result!!! I also found 14 Singapore Dollars and $120 NZ along with assorted change from various countries. I really am going to have to clean out my handbags more often, the possibility of finding cash may act as an incentive.
All I have to do is put my luggage in the car. I have to set off early tomorrow because I am going from Leeds/Bradford and haven't a clue where it is. It's a bad time really because if I don't set off early I will catch rush hour and end up stuck in traffic... Wish me luck folks because if I am late I will be blogging tomorrow night and it won't be pretty...
