Harris & Mannix

Hello,

As you're, no doubt, aware we (Chester) have signed Jay Harris and David Mannix, having had the (unfair) transfer embargo lifted.

What sort of players are they (other than injury prone in the case of Mannix)? Were you sorry to lose them?

Cheers.

Jay Harris cannot pass a ball, he will get booked in every game and probably sent off a couple of times in the season. He will give 100% but in my opinion he is not good enough for the Football League. No doubt he will prove me wrong next season.

Mannix never set the world on fire and was often caught in possession. Both he and Harris can only pass sideways and as Jeff says, neither were really good enough. Harris will give 100% and will get stuck in, but that often leads to yellows and reds galore.

I wasn't sorry to lose either of them, but we'll probably not replace them either.

And now....' CHESTER CITY CONFIRM INTEREST IN DEFENDER GODWIN ANTWI !'

Sky News reports that Chester are looking to sign Godwin on a long term Loan.

Seems to me that he might be better off partnering Colin Murdock at the FES...
THE Fans would love him !!!

'What me Worry ?'

Mannix is quality.
In a team who like to keep hold of the ball and not just blindly lump it forward, he will do well...............
Good Luck David and hope you ram the words down these idiots throats!!!
