Not sure if I have posted this in the correct place, if not I will apologise in advance.
Does anyone know the name of a programme that used to be on TV in the 60's, it starred Thora Hird as the owner of a pickle factory, two more of the main characters, who names escape me played either hubby and wife, or brother and siter and the female of the relationship used to always say to the male, before they left home, "Have you been Walter"

It wasn't Thora Hird it was Hilda Baker wasn't it? or were they both in it?
Pledges Pickles?

I used to enjoy that, sick sad puppy that I am. Nellie Pledge and the Pickle Factory.

Even sicker, is that I still call the spray polish, Nellie............lol

And her brother was played by Jimmy Jewel who, with his cousin Ben Warris, was one of the hugely popular radio double act in the 40s and 50s - Jewel and Warris.
