Helping a friend

Hi, I am new to this site.
I am helping a friend, her mother was married to a man who lived in Clayton Le Moors. I was hoping to get in touch with relatives or friends who knew him, she lost touch with her mother and would like to know how her life was.
His name was Herbert (Bert) Lomax, he died in 2007, October 15th
If anyone remembers Bert it would be lovely to hear from you.

I am Carol, live in Cumbria, work in a general store type shop, main interests are ancestry, walking my dogs, local history, C.S.I, (sad that the series has finished)

Theres been several posts removed, including one from Eric, because they mentioned the words Hyndburn Chat on Facebook. Thats why I sent the person a PM, I knew that would happen.
