Well i went to the hospital on the 28th apointment was for 3-15pm so i got there in plenty of time 2-45pm went to reception who said go and sit in the middle area so i did 3-15pm,3-30pm,3-45pm 4-00pm,4-15pm4-30pm then i was called in at last.
Now let me explaine something there are 2 heart specialists involved Mr D and Mr R one is in Blackpool and 1 is at Blackburn after the last angiogram i was told 2 artaries were nearly blocked and another needed looking at .
right so when i got in to see Mr D he said it "it is only 1 that needs looking at and i think it can be done with 2 STENTS (like a mesh tube with a balloon inside which is put in the artaries at the point where it is narrow and expanded with the balloon to open the artaries and act like a scaffolding then the balloon is letb down and pulled out).
But Mr R says i need a bypass on two artaries
so it has been dicided they will try the Stents first (which they could have done when i went for my angiogram last month this is the anoying thing about it .
so as it stands i have to wait to be refered back to Blackpool for a Date to have the stents fitted .
this is less invasive and is only an overnight stay though
Just a foot note Mr D had a quick prod at the cut site of the angiogram and i am sat here in pain now THANKYOU i was in the room no more than 15 mins after all that waiting and i would like to say a big thankyou to Mez for taking me and bringing me back.
If you would like to know what a STENT is take a look in the gallery at this link
