I am glad I did not want much for Christmas because I got bu88er all...and it was badly wrapped too.
I asked daughter not to get me anything...absolutely nothing...but she did get me some gifts...all stuff that I will use.....books to read(thank goodness I was on my last book)
Card blanks so that I can continue to make lovely creations(and donate the proceeds to Macmillan)...some glitter gel...something I have not used before ...so that will be a learning curve.
No smellies, no edibles(usually the naughty edibles that land on your hips and thicken your waist).
I also asked my very good friend not to get me anything either....last year she assembled a very large hamper of goodies.
This year I told her that whatever she would spend on me, she should spend on herself.
Did she listen...No, but she like me has found it hard to get into Christmas so it was another book.....and I sent her sunshine in a bottle...with bubbles.
So there it is...gone for another year.
I can't say I am sorry to see the back of it.
I hope you out there reading this stuff had a peaceful and pleasant time...because it really is not about gifts is it?
If this year has taught us anything, it has to be the value of friends and family.
