I craft because....

Margaret Pilkington

Beacon of light
Overlooker
It stops me sitting about munching biscuits.
(that has to be a good reason)

It takes my mind off stuff that could worry the bejasus out of me.
It is a quiet and gentle hobby.
It raises money for cancer charity and right now to fund an expedition to Borneo for Tyler(July 2020).
It is better than some of the mind (and bum numbing) stuff on the telly.
It allows me to let my artistic bent run riot...though I have to tell you I have had no training whatsoever.
I like to think that those who receive my cards look at them and want to keep them...I hate to think that they might find their way into a recycling bin...although I know that is the reality.
It keeps my brain active.
It keeps my hands active....it keeps the aches and pains at bay(we all get them from time to time).
I craft because I can.

But ....it is very addictive.
I can't make cards when I am upset or angry(the inspiration just does not come to me if I am upset)..every card is different.
Made with love for the one you love.

Thank you Cashy.
The people who have bought my creations have come back for more...so that says it all really.I am glad you like them.
They are all different and made with love....I know that sounds soppy....but I am sure that this is trapped in the card and transmitted to whoever buys it.
