When I was young and was caught by my mother 'acting daft'....she used to tell me off and say 'Act your age, not your shoe size'
Well, according to todays paper that is a bit of bad advice.
Apparently, it is good for us to act younger than we actually are, and this acting younger prolongs our life.
So I am going to continue to act like a teenager with wrinkles........well I AM an 18 year old.......I've just got 40 years experience at it that's all.
Moving on.......
The vast expanses of white flesh that were on show over the weekend and yesterday, have turned into a shade of 'blushing' pink.......or is some cases tomato red.
I'm sure there are a lot of people out there who have some very tender bodyparts........haven't they heard of factor 30.
You have to admit it has been almost like summer. I have even resorted to taking the quilt off the bed......almost unheard of.
I sleep with most of my anatomy out of the covers for most of the year........I think I must have a little problem with my internal thermostat.........I must see if a British Gas plumber can rectify it for me. Hubby on the other hand is usually trussed up like an eskimo under a 15 tog quilt. In the last few days (or more realistically...nights) he has been feeling a bit warm.......and spotty bum cheeks are not a good thing to see when you first wake in the morning.........so the quilt is OFF, and I'm taking a cold water bottle to bed with me.
