till my sister comes back! The dog arrived at 8.30am on Saturday morning and he's driving me crazy!! (Even more than normal). He didnt get back from the vets until Friday night and the arrangement was she was going to bring him up on Friday and go off when her son came back from TA camp. Anyway that all changed on Thursday when she had to take him to the vets. They kept him for 24 hours and she didnt get him back till Friday night and her son came home from TA camp early as well. Anyway Saturday he was still quiet from the vets. They'd given her some tablets to give him for five days to make sure he gets better soon. Anyway Saturday no problem he was quiet all day. Towed me along the back lane to Baxenden, along the main road back to Langford Street and back along the back lane. Sunday he was a bit more livelier getting back to normal I thought so little did i know! Sunday I was up at 8am! I dont see 8am normally any day of the week there is only one 8 O clock and thats pm. 8am was sat on the bench in my back garden with a brew in one hand and tossing his ball in the other. I'm just grateful i have a big garden that is big enough to throw balls about in. He started whining when i shut him in the kitchen so i could go and get dressed but thought i cant go round in a purple tshirt all day can i? I thought i would go and have a look at the Mela down at oakhill but didnt want to leave him on his own in the house. He started missing my sis he is sitting on the chair under the window and looking out and also sitting at the middle door looking through it. Anyway Monday - took him out along rising bridge road and stopped talking to people and he didnt like that he was pulling left right and centre. Today was bin day - guess what - he got out. Normally the bin wagon comes first and then the bin men come. Today the 1 time i'm looking out for em they came first and the dogs in the back garden! Through the gates out onto the main road. Thank god the traffic was stopped at the traffic lights! He was ducking and weaving round the cars anyway he came back in the garden and i shut 1 gate the binman shut the other and chucked his ball right down the other end of the garden and legged it after him to shut the other gate. Then caught him and shut him in the house until the binmen had gone. My sis said as she was going on Saturday 'All i want is a dog when I come back I dont want to know any details of what he's done' She might just be lucky!! Wish me luck - got to take him for a walk yet tonight. With any luck the rain will hold off until i get back.
