me and my better half(pam 1) whent over to blackpool, on the front a young girl stoped us buy a lucky pebble from a romany and have luck for the rest of your life, the b---t---s where geting them of the beach.
did i buy one what do you think.

My god that is height of bloody cheek that is!! :( I would have gone and picked some up and said " no thanks, but do you fancy buying these off me??"
 
She was hardly likely to find some lucky heather on the beach. 10 outta 10 to the lass for improvisation:D

Yeah, I bought a glass pebble in burnley years ago (felt kinda threatened) and it never brought me any luck, infact, i think it was the worst year of my life.........

I must admit, i just say no thanks now, but still feel threatened, like they're gonna hex me or something coz i dont buy one
 
I had this woman shoving something under my nose once in the Arndale, wanting me to buy it, and saying "If you keep this in your purse, your purse will never be empty.Emz in her typical dry manner looked at her and replied, "Course it won't. It'll always have that thing in it." :D
 
Has anyone seen the Glory hole, the shop in Accy? They sell "Lucky pixie gold" ! Dont think I'll be buying any!
