Well done Marcus. Hope it's the first of many.
Just been sent off "professional Foul" after 18 mins.
And another star who escaped t'Stanley's clutches has just come on as a Sub for Blyth Spartans !.......None other than The Red Geordie himself ..Michael Richardson !!
And he hasn't really improved much, up to now anyway !.
PS....He was released by Newcastle United !.
Have always thought it tough on goalies who are adjudged to have committed a foul in the penalty area (by those highly skilled referees we have) and are sent off for it, as well as there being a penalty awarded. If an outfielder gives away a penalty, it seems they are rarely sent off as well. The penalty is the punishment. Goalie's are not renowned for fouling, they usually have other things to think about, but if one is judged to commit a single foul, it's very often a red card.

Watched the game agree he did not do a lot when he came on, 3 leagues lower than F.L. status and only a sub, speaks volumes to me.
Hartlepool were done though i thought with a ball oer the line, just like we were last week.At least 2 cms. of the ball didn't cross the line, Cashy, so no goal!Watched the game agree he did not do a lot when he came on, 3 leagues lower than F.L. status and only a sub, speaks volumes to me.
