the Lancs telegraph quotes (((initially until January but there is an option to extend the deal)))

[MikeA]

It says a month's loan on both clubs' websites but Fylde's tweet mentions the option to extend. They seem very happy to have him;

Cannot understand this move for Marcus. Playing with Conference North level clubs then dropping down a league to the Evo Stik, doesn't make sense to me! Thought he would have been better sticking to Barrow or Halifax, or maybe John Coleman will come in for him in a months time[if he gets the Southport job].

[smudgie]

I also thought it was a strange one. Conference North or Conference surely would have been a better move as he has already proven he can bang them in at Evo Stik level.

[cashman]

Perhaps he wants to be near sure of getting a game? gives 100% but does need to build his fitness level i think.

[teabag]

Scored today on his debut well done young man

[cashman]

Nice un Marcus,i reckon he will attain league standard,no doubt.

Fylde are in white. Go to 4:36 and 7:05 for Marcus's goals:

And here's me thinking we signed Gornell because we're short on striking options ???

[cashman]

Seems to me the lad aint been given a proper run in our side, obviously another whose face dont fit.

[AccyMad]

Think the technical term is having a facial injury - there's been a few of them over the years

[DAV007]

Don't know cashy, I'm not convinced he is good enough for league 2.

What you can't fault is his attitude and desire.

And he is certainly a better striker option instead of McGuire.
