Stanley Ultras Fans Team will be playing this Sunday & next Sunday on Highams Playing Fields, Thorneyholme Road. Kick off will be 1pm this week v the mighty Liverpool FC (fans team). All spectators welcome, back to the Crown after for post match drinkies. . . .

I know its not the first team but hey, beats gardening or browsing in Skipton!
 
I'm not missing football at all. In fact, I'd rather be gardening or browsing in Skipton than watching football at the moment. I hope I refind my interest, or I've just blown £207 :D
 
Unfortunately I don't get much of a choice! I will be there :-) Only for an hour this Sunday tho as working later.
 
Another game tonight for the fans team v Rovers on Highams. Kick off 7pm if you 's are bored.....

(Narrowly lost on Sun 0-2....... BTW)
 
does anyone else think that rovers are a good bet for relegation next season now that the king pin has left?

Depends on which players leave but I think Stanley are more of a good bet for relegation unfortunately.

The seasons not even started yet! Every year we supirse people like you and the bookies!! We are in Football League for another season! And i for one think we will do well!

Your so called "good bet" of stanley going down is as bad as burnleys fans bet of they are going up every year! :)

Haha , i forgot all about that , but the answer is no! :) I really dont know why it doesnt have any , i didnt realise till i purchased it!

I nearly bought that table off you but my son changed his mind at the last minute which I didn't argue with as we have no room left.
 
here goes then bagpuss it's time to put my money where my mouth is... I bet you £40 (for a charity of your choice) that Stanley finish in a higher position in lg2 than rovers do in the prem, are we on?

I have my doubts if you would win but I will not be taking you on with this because I wouldn't want to win, I'm sure a Rovers fan may take you on though.
 
Take the dog(or wife!) for a walk in the morning, past Highams Football Pitches. Stanley Ultras play their final league game v Everton.

Kick Off 11am. All welcome. Crown afterwards for both teams & All spectators....

I've had a think about this and I'm prepared to take the bet on because if I win the money goes to charity and if I lose the money goes to charity but I will be honest I don't expect to lose.:(
