Mullers retires

[maccawozzagod]

unhappy ending to a great career Paul.

all the best with whatever comes next for you.

but at least he can stop pretending to like Morecambe now!

[Wynonie Harris]

Best wishes for the future, Paul. A loyal servant to the club and still a Stanley man, no matter what colour shirt he wears!

[Exile on Spencer St]

Great player and guy. His goal at Woking lives on in the memory. Good luck to him for whatever the future holds.

[cashman]

Gotta say good health n good fortune to Mr Mullen.

[Pendle Red]

[Lancashire Stan]

Sad news indeed! Hope you will still be seen at the crown ground on match days though Mully !

[LongLostSon]

Respect in bucketfuls

[lancsdave]

Good luck Paul. If you go back to financial advising let me know the best way to turn £5 in to a million

The date seems to have figured more than once in his career

Mullin's retirement comes five years to the day since he scored the goal that won Stanley promotion to the Football League at Woking in April 2006.

[shakermaker]

His name, achievements and big shiny forehead will never be forgotten. Well done and good luck Mullers.

Hope a proper testimonial/send off (ie a footy match!) can be arranged for him in the summer?

[VALAIRIAN]

Cannot put it any better that Shaker!!!

All the best Mullers - LEGEND!!

[Nickelson]

Theres only one Paul Mullin.

From the days with Lutel to the goal against Woking, you are a Stanley legend.

[smobile]

Thanks for the memories Paul - will never forget Woking 06 - All the best Mullers.

[Grimps]

were will he go to if he will play on think we all should turn up . could be little padhim

[maccawozzagod]

i'd make a small wager that Radcliffe or Clitheroe (as former clubs) might entice him if he wants to play on for the sake of playing rather than for a wage.

"Someone scored a goal Paul Mullin..."
What a great career Paul has had and what a superb servant for Accrington Stanley. I think that it is quite well known that Paul put a much more lucrative career "on hold" when he turned full time pro with Stanley.
THANKYOU PAUL AND GOOD LUCK IN THE FUTURE.
Stanley LEGEND for ever!!!!

[maccawozzagod]

that song deserves one final outing, anyone for a minibus if and when he pops up semi-pro somewhere?
