Monday bowling was a bit of a blow because the bloke I played managed to score a massive 245!! Not something I can really compete against but I did enjoy the game. Martin and I sort of lost but, never mind, at least we had some fun!
The weather here has been so grim lately and I feel sad for all those folk who have paid lots of dosh for a week or so in Tenerife. However, the rain has made the normal rocky landscape a lovely green, as all this grassy stuff has grown and made the place look more like Dartmoor. I keep looking out for the sheep!!
Tuesday and Wednesday were sort of normal days, housework and other boring things. Such is our life that we both seem to have become hooked on this silly game..........a lizard catching flies!! Whatever you do, don't look forward to early retirement!
My friend, Sue, and I had an away day to Las Americas on Thursday which was really good. We do tend to enjoy people watching and most holiday folk seem to leave their brains at home when they turn up abroad. The buses here clearly display their destination but we lost count of the people who tried to go in the opposite direction.......such fun!!
I'll bypass Friday and Saturday, which brings us to the Sunday Bowling League. Doreen and I managed to win 8 - 0.........yippee!!
We had a bit of a sad homecoming though. Our garage space is under the apartment block and some sick bad person nicked the antique fruit machine we had stored there. 'Im indoors really liked it and had plans for selling it soon..........a complaint for the communidad!!
