Right i have just bought a pair of new shoes and they are rubbing my heal anyone now a way of stopping this as i now have plasters on both feet and am walking funny HELP
 
I have seen it done before today! Cant help you with your problem though but I know the feeling, you just have top put up with it for a few days it soon goes
 
That could be very hard as they went in the bin a week ago in town and before you say it no i am not going to whinny hill tip to look for them thankyou
 
When my Dad had this problem he used to bash the insides of the shoes with a hammer to soften them up a bit.

but it might just come to that.
 
Cobblers Mick, take them to the cobblers and ask him to stretch them a little. Bruising with an hammer works for me and its cheap but you risk splitting the backs if like me you find the experience pleasurable and get carried away……

For the current state of your heels I’d recommend Compeed Blister Plasters, they work a treat and should protect your heels whilst allowing you to wear your new shoes.
 
Rub candle wax inside of the shoe were it's rubbing.


Let your feet heal before wearing them in again though. Liquid platic by Germoline is a good alternative to pllasters, as you paint it on your chaffed skin.
 
Or buy some new, new shoes, ha ha only joking. No matter what you do they will continue to feel like they are rubbing until your heels have healed, no pun intended!!

I always make a point of wearing new shoes round the house to break them in so I can take them off when they start to rub a bit :eek:
 
Another trick that might help is.........cover the offending part of the shoe with a face cloth or a tea towel, then get a pair of pliers and sort of nibble the leather....working it backward and forwards.......and do like Doug says 'Compeed Blister Relief' it is a bit dear but it does work.
 
Oh yeah, the other cure for blisters is........fresh urine......I know it sounds disgusting but that works too.....though I don't know the scientific reason for it.

I used to get told this if i burnt myself at work when using cutting or welding gear, never did it though but i know someone who used to :eek:
