I have mentioned the O.S.I. many times. The Old Silent Inn....... This was the venue last night for my long awaited night out with Sparks, who has been working his socks off lately and I've barely seen him. I had just started to forget what he looked like when he phoned and suggested a meal out.
Sparks phoned the O.S.I and ordered us 2 Old Silent steaks. It's been ages since we had these and they were superb. I was literally drooling all the way there at the thought of one. Honestly, I should have wrapped a bib around myself in the car...Lovely!!!
My hands have started to become sore again. It is with the constant handwashing at work. I cannot use the gels as they sting like billy-o, then again gels are not a substitute for a good wash. Despite using plenty of handcream my skin is cracked, sore and peeling off. However, my feet are improving at a rate of knots. I have been experimenting lately and have discovered a cure. Every night before going to work I have been applying a thin layer of Trimovate cream, followed by a blast of Daktarin spray and a liberal coating of Olive oil and putting my socks straight on. The finished result looks rather like a nasty yellow poultice but I swear it works. The eczema between my toes is almost completely gone...
So now I'm off to find a concoction to put on my hands. It may take a couple of days of experimentation but it will be worth it.....
