Honestly, I can't take myself anywhere!!!!!
I've been to Manchester on the bus today for a shopping expedition. I did manage to find a top which I can wear for Willow's wedding. I'm hoping that it will go with a suit which I already have. I also needed new shoes for work, which I found with unusual ease.
Due to having no problem finding work shoes I reckoned it might be worth trying to find some nice sandals for the summer which I could also wear for the wedding. Needless to say it was impossible. Don't get me wrong because there's lots of nice stuff out there but I have a problem with my feet. They are permanently sore, I can't wear anything with a bar between the toes because they rub my eczema which flares up between my toes and is pretty much a permanent fixture. I can't walk well in heels and have a tendency to topple over after a couple of drinks, and with being quite tall I always feel like I tower over people if I wear heels. I have quite wide feet therefore I tend to look stupid in dainty little strappies.
I gave it up as a bad job in the end and reminded myself to be satisfied with just finding work shoes and the top, oooh and another top that I liked (I forgot that one.) I decided to celebrate my finds with a glass of red wine before getting the bus home, which was lovely. Unfortunately I fell sound asleep on the bus before it had even left Manchester and I slept all the way back to Accrington. How embarrassing, I can't be trusted to go anywhere without showing myself up....
