Mick, that is a lovely pic.......now get tapping and tell us your Easter memories.
I know that they say a picture is worth a thousand words, but I do like a good read :)

PS...perhaps this could lead to a photo comp :)

Apart from all the chocolate Easter eggs i remember my grandmother used to do hard boiled eggs that where yellow, red.blue, green i always though they where so good hehe i would have thought it was food dye but i remember if after taking the shell off some of the dye had got to the egg she would always take the egg off me and cut that bit out so it might not have been food dye as we know it:confused:
We would all walk to miller park or avenham park in Preston to roll the eggs down the slope and had a picnic good times

Mick, you havent changed in all those years have you....you've still got that same cheeky grin :D

Mick do another entry to the blog and tell us all about it.

Oh and the coloured eggs.........we ate ours coloured bits and all.......and we are all still around so it couldn't have been that toxic....could it?

What Mick hasn't said is , That dog taught him how to walk . He would grab its fur and walk slowly . long before my time .I never saw the dog .

As David says "Laddy" taught me to walk he was a very deep golden long hair retriever very friendly and patient i would hold on to his fur his belly would be pulled round his side and he would walk step by step with me.
his pedigree would put a lot of family trees to shame.
i will see if i can dig some more old photos out soon
including some of my brother:p:D
