Today I sent my worthless brother in Sydney a long e-mail.
It is a year since we lost Ma....and this oxygen thief created no end of problems for me in the settling of Ma's estate.
He has done nothing practical by way of helping sort out the difficulties....in fact many of the difficulties were actually created by him.
He threatened to have me removed as administrator....but had he done that, there was no one to take over this role....and the estate was too small to put into the hands of a professional administrator.
This man cost the beneficiaries £2.5k in legal costs.
I cannot tell you the difficulties he created for me.
So this e-mail was to tell him some very unpalatable home truths and to let him know that we are done....and that his actions are what created the break in the chain of family bonds.
I told him that his mother would be proud of his behaviour(NOT)...she would have given him the tongue lashing of his life.
I hated to do this, but felt I had no choice.
I will not respond to this man....in fact all communications from him are blocked.
