just wondering is there anyone on here that goes on line with PS2.could be fun to know.ive just set mine up and i think its the way forward in gaming.
 
any good?ps2 online is excellent.if you think your good against comp. even on hard settings,then some of the guys on line dont give you a chance.more of a challenge
 
Sorry to bring an old thread back up.But just wondering if any of the new(or seasoned)members on here have gone on line with the PS2 yet.If anyone has please PM me,especially if you play the footie games on line.:)
 
can ya give us a quick rundown of how and whats involved.. my lads have a ps2 but i have no idea how to get online... idiots guide please? my lads would love to play pre evo online if thats possible?

Basically all you need is an ethenet cable running from the back of the PS2 to a router modem.If you need any assistance mate PM me and I will gladly give you a hand setting it up it is quite easy and costs nothing.I set my mates up for the same game....:)
 
i can put cable in ok ... dont be a tease... gissa clue what to do next... and if i PM ya then no one else will know :)
 
True......If your cable is attached just put the game in,click on play on line in the main menu.And basically follow the on screen prompts.He will probably be asked to make up a user namer simular to on here.Then it should be away you go....:)
 
No mine is black.It is a slimline isnt it? otherwise you need an attachment.Saying that it must be a slimline or you would not be able to attach ethernet cable in the back.

Hiya Kipax

We got our PS2 online gaming adapter for the older PS2 (the big bulky one) at the gaming shop on Broaway in town, it cost £20 they'll know what it is you need if you tell them what it's for.

I didnt realise the time... lad shot uptown and they didnt have any in..... more time tommorow so he can try a few other places and get one..

tried with PSP and no joy either.. it goes online OK (wont play accyeweb games to his dissapointment unless anyone knows how) with browser but when choosing game sharing it only looks for another wirless nearvy psp

I will get him the thingymajig tommorow if there about

meanwhile are the PS2 players here going to the PS2 competition next week at stanley?.. you can win prizes.. unless yer not that good hehe :)
 
FIFA??? It's disgusting, not a patch on the football alter that is Pro Evo 5. Just my opinion ;)

PS: Before anybody starts the "but FIFA's got licences" arguments, Ive just got a memeory card off Ebay with an options file which gives official names, shirts, badges etc for every team. All competitions updated and amendentsmade to national squads. Absolute Class!!!:)
