All the silliness around me has been put into perspective. It's time for me to stop being silly too, and move on.

Last night my Aunt had a heart attack in the hospital in Manchester, on top of all the other things that are wrong with her. They think she may have a very rare disease called Wilson's disease, but we are still waiting for confirmation. All the symtoms fit, like the jaundice and the the paranoia. It is treatable if caught early enough, but is fatal if it is too advanced. We are just playing a waiting game.

I haven't had a wink of sleep, and only five hours since Sunday. My muscles are in spasm and the tremor is bad today.

My cousin was supposed to take me to visit my Aunt today, but l felt so bad I decided I was going to rearrange it for tomorrow. I pressed the wrong button on the phone and got through to her husband. Fate intervened I think. Chatting to him made me realise how much my cousin needs me. Being an only child she is extremely close to her Mum, and has basically spent the last three months either working or at the hospital, or in the car driving there. It made me feel ashasmed that I can be so selfish, stiff muscles and a shaking right side isn't going to kill me.

So I have made some sandwiches and other food for us to take, so she can eat once we know we are in Manchester in time for visiting.

I'm going to have a long hot soak and take my drugs and be a good boy, some things are so much more important than others, like love.

Rindy.....hope Aunt Ros gets better.....Just be there for your family...that is all you can do at present.
It does put everything into perspective.......go with the important things. I'm thinking of you.

Sometimes we get temporarily lost in our own lives and there's nothing wrong with that. Your family will thank you for making the effort and you'll be glad that you did..
