Peter Kay

like you say D, its 'northern humour' and southerners dont seem to get it, i was watching one of his dvds with Stuart once (my ex from Hampshire) and he didnt have a clue what he was on about, you have to be in the right frame of mind to understand him to and to find him funny :D

Know what you mean Flashy. When my 25 year old son was home at Christmas and 2 of his mates staying with me (one a Brummie).. they put on one of his 'gigs' .. I laughed a lot at this .. and I think probably because the lads were were laughing so much, was infectious and passed the mood on to me.

I love peter kay, been a fan for years, and seen him live. Absolutely amazing.

With his books, dont find them AS funny, still entertaining, but not as good as I thought it would be.

Lee evans is another genius in my eyes lol

finished this book now, does anyone want to borrow it? you'll have to pick it up if you do :D

I read it last week!! I didn't buy it, I borrowed it.

Absolutely hilarious ..... couldn't put it down and couldn't stop laughing.

Kids kept looking at me like I was weird ( ok, maybe they had a point ) :) It does look silly sitting there p!ssing your sides laughing at a book though.

When he said " my mate won a super market sweep in Netto. The full sweep came in at £11.20 " lmao :D

lol yeah that was quite near the end of the book, its fantastic, hope he brings another one out soon....i love the names he calls the nuns...sister matic, sister sledge lol

Is it called The Sound of Laughter,?Ibought the hard back for £1, from the sue ryder shop before xmas,, now i have just got to dig it out and read it.......i had forgotten all about it

I have started reading it now,,,i would have loved to see those nuns faces ,when he was cocking his leg up at the tree in the school play...,i bet it was a hoot in his class...

Its brilliant! Another laugh out loud one is John Barrowman's. Its just as funny (if not funnier!) than Peter Kays. I've nearly finished it, and I only started it last night.
