Razor blades

Resting in Peace
Overlooker
I use an electric shaver most of the time, but occasionally have a wet shave, I noticed last week that it was time to buy some new blades, those little squares of tissue paper all over the face don't look right(shut it cashy and Neil:D)So this week I put some on my shopping list, which as just arrived, I'm now waiting for the ambulance (kidding)as I had an asthma attack when I saw the price, a pack of 5 Gillette G3 turbo razor blades £8 98p:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek: what a rip off, think I'll go total electric from now on:(

They are extraordinarily expensive.

I think Blair's babes hiked up the price, to counterbalance there being VAT on ladies 'products'.

:D

have n electric, rarely use it, prefer a wet shave, use sensor excel meself n there a rip off, but them yer looking at, i'd want a car fer that price.:D

Because they're so expensive they are the thing most nicked by shoplifters, apparently.

Though I've yet to see the lorry they're selling them from.

I was told long ago that razors transported in bilk are treated like gold, and that it was one of the most expensive loads to carry, seems there may be some truth in it then. Mine are expensive, so I electric shave at weekend unless I am going out, but through the week I shave daily at least once.

I always wetshave and now use Boots Hydro Razor, i must admit its not quite as smooth a shave as me old Gillette, but the blades are a lot cheaper, about £4.50 ish for 8 i think is what i paid last time.

Best Regards - Taggy
