I definitely feel a shopping spree coming on. Looking through my wardrobe the other day, I realised that I have nothing decent to wear for Willow and Busman's wedding. A trip to Manchester next week is in order. I hate shopping for clothes, I suppose that being female that statement make me a little unusual, but it's true. If I have some spare money I can never find anything that I like and if I'm skint I see thousands of things. I have some money left over from my holiday, which means that my shopping trip will be unsuccessful. It will probably culminate in me trailing round Manchester, not seeing anything I like and ending up with sore feet and a glass of wine at the Moon Under Water before getting the bus home.
I normally take the car to Manchester, but it is much less hassle getting a return ticket on the bus and not having to find a parking place. Looking on the bright side I do have a new handbag for the occasion so I may just concentrate on getting an outfit to match the bag, It may just narrow down my search a bit. I would ask my mate Angie to come with me, but I never find anything when I'm with her and she ends up finding lots of stuff and spending a fortune.
I may be lucky on the day, but at least it's a day out and better than working.....
