Is it just me or is there something wrong with the site servers? Since about ten past five pages are taking an age to load.

Your right Bob,
It is however Roys fault because he's got his bum stuck in a plane somewhere over Germany on his way to Moscow, so the servers are starting to miss him.

You can bet that there are at this moment a number of moderators getting together for a group hug & to pray that they (the servers) don't crash completley before he can be contacted.

:D

Good grief! It just took my aged pc about 15 mins to get on the Stanley froum!!! There are issues with msn messenger too;it won't let you sign in;has been the same since at least 5pm .:(

It's not just accyweb Jambutty, landyzone & a few other sites that are effected, I've just been talking to wingy & he was telling me that it isn't actually Roy's servers that are the problem but the main server of the company that looks after them for him. Roy should be back on site by tomorrow (hopefully) & will get it sorted.

You'll have to be a right old f*rt to remember where that comes from, if you think you know please write it down on a postcard & send it to:-
Roy in Moscow, Russia, (It will probably get there quicker than if you tried to post it here).

:p

Blamin 'eck i thought it was my connection its soooooo slow snails go faster .... i think Roy's left us with a parting gift :)

Wow, i'm glad it's not my pc. I thought i was back on dial up.
I'll be back tomorrow when it's sorted.

I'm glad it wasn't just me..Burnleyweb is fine,my forum is fine and a couple of others that use vbulletin are ok!

It has been slow all day today.......I thought it was my gas powered machine giving up the ghost............thankfully it isn't........Phewwww, that's a relief.

It's been agony for me. I've been ploughing through Gayle Knight's thread since I got back this evening and only managed a couple of other threads. I can't help wondering what else I've missed but it will take me all weekend to find out at this rate!

:( Hope it gets fixed soon.

Thanks for that blast from the past Less. :D

god it was slow when I first came on I ended up doing loads of system checks because I thought it was my p.c............luckily it has just started to speed up about 5 minutes ago.

Now that's odd. It's speeded up but managed to lose a post of mine in this thread in the process. I wonder how many others it has lost?
