To the people who posted comments and sent me messages, thank you. l honestly forget sometimes that people can read these little word doodles. l know it's not private, but it still takes me by suprise when people comment.
I had a fairly good five hours sleep last night, and l had a sleep at the acupuncurists, so l feel much better today. I hate feeling sorry for myself, but at the weekend l was so tired and ill l couldn't help it. In fact l'm pleased with how well l have coped with what has happened in the last year. Like l've said before if l can't work, l'll make the most of it.
Cheryl, the needle Mistress, said something interesting today. When l told her how depressed the woman who was riddled with Parkinson's had made me, she said do l need to go? On thinking about it, the meetings are really just social nights for elderly people who enjoy making greetings cards or watching holiday snaps of a trip to Lourdes. l might be better mixing with people who will take my mind of this disease. l will feel guilty after they voted me on to the committee, sending me on the course, and applying for a grant for a printer so l could produce their newsletter. One thing l am though is selfish, l haven't made my mind up yet but think l have got all l can from the meetings. I'll still get the quarterly magazine from the society so l can still keep abreast of research etc.
Yvonne the woman l'm doing the newsletter for is coming tomorrow afternoon, l'll sleep on it- hopefully!!
