Although I don't expect that Chubbyman and those who have consigned Davo to the world behind the ignore button will share in this new found affection for our bete noir !.
But as it is Valentine's evening I suppose some latitude can be allowed, as it appears to be the result of your secondary love....Yellow Tail !!.
What worries me is that your next alcohol fuelled confession will be about a sneaky affection for Sean Mc !!.

That's so observant of you Yonmon....
Yes, actually....... I have always been a fan of Sean. I think that his biggest mistake was leaving Stanley, as it has been for a number of other players who did well for us and then, after leaving us, have drifted somewhat into 'obscurity'.
I also just like to keep the 'Sean Mc' thread going too!!

Did you seriously say 'even Kal' - the lad might not always get it right but you can never doubt his passion for the game & his contribution to it. How many of his critics, given what the kid has gone through would still be turning out week after week?? Give him a break!

More kind words about us from their forum..."dross"..."boring club which highlights why we need to get out of this division"..."defeat to the most tinpot club the league has ever seen"..."no disrespect to Accy, but we should be destroying teams like them at home"..."Accrington - shocking, dirty, time-wasting northern xxxxxxs".

Don't get too carried away with your vitriol. We have been crying out for a decent keeper and a decent striker. Perhaps that's the reason the team have picked up so much.

If so then why did it take so long to figure it out because we all knew weeks ago???

Because gornell wasn't available until deadline day, likewise Davies wasn't allowed to move until deadline day.

Cheltenham signed 3 maybe 4 strikers on deadline day that give Gornell the green light to leave!

With our finances we'll probably always get last pickings of players, hence why 3 deadline day signings...What class signings so far though!

Just seen our goals on I-player and no way was Terry offside for the 2nd, as claimed by many on the Shrimpers forum! They do give us credit though, one Mon saying we closed them down better than any other team at their place. Just what I like to hear.
 
We're the first team to put two goals past Southend in the League at Roots Hall this season! :)

Walsall and McConville's Chester have both won 2-1 in cup matches though.
