i'm planning on planting the potatoes very soon, just bought some new compost for them to go in, when do you lot plant yours? i usually do them February/March time depending on the weather
 
never planted any Flashy,my back yard is mainly decked,got small area for direct planting but short of sunlight
 
i grow my potatoes in tubs Stevie, like you say though you're short on sunlight, thats such a shame
 
not a shame Flashy,cos if I peek under the decking my pet elves are busy mushroom farming..............................................................................insert smiley face here...:)
 
I have grown spuds on the same ground for more than 3 years . I have to have a change to stop getting club root or other diseases setting in .
 
I put my spuds in last week, straight into ground with a bit of fresh compost dug in thats all I do.
 
my spuds have gone to the big spud grave in the sky, all my tubs turned over the other week when we had those bad gusts of wind and i haven't bothered re-planting them
