It's mid-May. If that's all we have in August, then it's time to start worrying. That team was only just good enough to stay up last season. Why would we want to keep all those players?

I think Eric quoted we need 8 or 9 new players so not to be in the same position as last season. Get behind your new team and the management!:D

So what about BOBBY GRANT then ? Is he signed on as a pro,been 'let go' or still an apprentice? If the latter,do we still regard him as a first team squader? :confused:

Deffo has the quality to become a "first team squader", however probably not this coming season, one for the future I would think..........IMHO :D
 
David Artell has been released from Chester - apparently it was a bit of a shock to him as he'd just been voted their player of the year - the new boss must not have agreed with the general opinion!

id say another defender or 2 like a commanding center back and we are sorted
 
I have updated the profiles on the official site and is the official list as of 5pm yesterday. Squad numbers will not be given until about a week before the season begins and player statistics will be updated as well before the season starts .

Sean Whalley and (if he plays there) John Miles notwithstanding could we say we had experienced strength in depth on the flanks after the departures of Messrs Roberts and Todd?

Bobby Grant showed great promise at Milton Keynes but he is only just starting out.

As a minimum I think we could do with a left sided midfielder (assuming Sean Whalley moves to the right) at least one more centre back and competition/cover at left back. Even that leaves us very thin for suspensions and injuries.
