I know there is quite a few on here who comes from Church and drank in the Stag, or just went in the Stag, who will know Barney.

A great man died this morning at 6am, he was a legend in Church. He was my Dad.

My deepest sympathies Sara please share my regrets with your family. I never met Barney, but I have little doubt I would have liked him and his company. God Bless.

Sorry to hear of your loss if the Stag was still open the next time I went in, I'd have had a drink to his memory.:o

sorry for your loss sara, I know what it is like to lose someone very close.
my thoughts are with you during this sad time.

Sorry to hear about the death of your dad, Sara.

I first met Barney in the Stag about 3 years ago, at one of the Accyweb meets. He usually stood at the end of the bar, discussing the form, and chatting with the regulars. He was one of the friendly group of locals that made the Stag a welcoming pub.

God bless, Barney.

Sorry to hear your dad has died Sara. I did not know him but I knew your mother Jean. We both worked at Eubank many moons ago.
