Not that it makes much difference Mick, On Top gear they pitted the most powerful rpoduiction car made ( a big merc |600bhp) against a team of 6 blokes and the blokes won!

:)

;) so is this going to go ahead ill think itll be a right laugh but i thin k staggeringman and mick can voluntier to move the trolleys and stuff befor we do it :o :p

Will the water be cold?.... Because if it is …… forget it! You can count me out. I don’t do cold water unless it’s in the med somewhere.

Sounds fun but what will mi catch in the canal bugs wise???

Nice spot of leptospirosis anyone? Count me out - my friend's son (a policeman) rescued someone from drowning in the Trent-Mersey canal and was off sick for six months.

Also I don't fancy gashing myself on broken car parts thrown in there (it isn't very deep) and the resultant septicaemia.

Yes, I'm a devout coward. It's been my religion for years.

I go swimming in the canal at least once a week and it's never done me any harm.
