I think we should sponsor someone to swim the Calder.

With a 200lb weight on his back should do the trick:D
I'l make a suggestion that it BEE a rather annoying pest on here who keeps asking stupid questions of which they know the answer anyway, or am I missing the point? As 4 bees question, why not go in & try it, then again you probably already have?:dflam:

It is fine when it is quiet but when it is busy it isn't that good. A little bit chavvy.

They always let kids in?? My neice's friends go at the weekend, some have only just turned sixteen, my niece is not allowed to got before anyone comments :P
They are all dressed up to the ? nines ? and they just waft em in??

Children are allowed in when dining, there's a family dining area, we use it regularly. It can get a bit noisy when there's a big footie match and there are a couple of miserable old men who hog a whole booth to themselves in the family area whilst studying the Racing Post over their half of mild but other than them no problem!
