I know I have moaned about having been called for this investigation, but when I was doing my clicks this morning I began thinking of how lucky I am to be offered this at no cost to myself(other than what I have paid in NHS contributions).
The women I(and other good folk on Accyweb) click for are not afforded this unless they can pay for it........and in the USA, if you do not have health care insurance then only the most basic of things are covered.
The other thing that I thought of too, was that this will be my penultimate screening......I will be offered another examination when I hit 69 and then nothing after that unless I request it.
I will have to think about that one.
Three years seems like along time to mull over something, but in truth it is only a stride away....and will be here before I know it!
