Time passing by......

Why is it that time is passing me by so quickly...yeah I can hear so many of you now shouting..."But your only 34!!!" Yes and I know you're right but at the same time I've thought about this today and realised there is so much in my life I have yet to achieve. It's made it all the more significant with the recent injury to my back as there are some things that I now know I will probably never do. I want to bungee jump off that famous bridge in new zealand, paraglide off the side of a mountain (or very large hill), travel the world going on all the highest and fastest roller coasters, parachute jump and so much more... So when do you get to the stage of acceptence that you may never do the things you always wanted to do???

I suppose all this has come to mind as over the past few days I have had a friend suggest paragliding (then she went oops sorry you can't can you, grrrr) another chatting about our time in disneyland paris going on all the big rollercoasters and finally my son suggesting I get a bike so we can go on rides together. Maybe I should just go ahead and do it all anyway and take that risk.... as we have been posting in one of the threads, cos life's too short.

I see my children growing into adults and needing me less and less, my career almost stagnant when all it would take is for me to maybe just take a risk, my fear of getting too close to anyone just in case I get hurt.....

So why do we sometimes allow ourselves to just stand still instead of (metophorically speaking of course) running outside and shouting at the top of our voices "I can do anything and I'm gonna damn well do it"

Ooo this is all very deep but I get like that sometimes. I'm definately a thinker. Well maybe its time I stopped thinking and started doing, so watch this space, lol ...........

I always think that whenever I'm on my death bed, I want to have as few as regrets as possible.
You are a great girl, and have two lads you should be very proud of, but make sure you find some 'me' time.
Never become so cynical that you never trust anybody with your heart, you might find someone that deserves you, otherwise you'll turn into me!;)

Believe me..... The bungee jump off Kawarau Bridge costs a fortune and takes only a minute. You have loads to look forward to and lots of time to do it.... :-)
