Pollards on Jacob St, Accrington, I've had sheet metal off them, they usually have loads of off cuts behind the guilotines.
Retlaw.

There is a water jet metal cutters in Lancaster, well worth trying them. They can cut any shape and have the materials on site on most occasions. Mail order too i think if needed. Ill be heading up next week if that helps.

That sounds like American engineering :D

improvise , modify and adapt ;)

most folks I know (of a certain age) keep a bit of banding strap and a wire coat hanger in the trunk(boot) of their vehicle , comes usefull when opening locked car doors for ditzy women on supermarket car parks :D
