I have been all over the place this week, no luggage required..
In order to see where Sparks has been sent to (he left this morning), I downloaded Google Earth. It's brilliant!!! I have been to Hong Kong, Sydney, Grand Canyon, Brisbane and many more places. The 3D buildings look great and I could see lots of places that I visited the last time I was in HK.
Sparks has been sent to a small Siberian backwater called Berdsk. It is just southeast of Novosibersk and looks like an industrial dump. I hope that he is ok there as westerners can be seen as rich pickings in some of these countries. He will be there for about 3 weeks (ish).
We went for a curry last night at the Agra in Hapton. It was like the last supper for Sparks. It may be the last decent meal he has for 3 weeks. He is currently at Heathrow collecting his bags to transfer to a flight to Moscow then on to another flight to Novosibersk. I have just texted him to remind him to buy some decent tweezers before he checks his bags in at Heathrow. The area that he is going to is renowned for ticks, which carry encephalitis..... I worry about him you know.
Anyway, I've got to go now.... I want to go to Japan before I go to work.
