I've been down in the dumps this week. I don't know why. I think it's the time of year, as I need daylight to function properly, and I hate the nights drawing in. On Tuesday I went with Mum to buy a big pot from the garden centre. I was in a total daze, and when we came back, I had a good cry and a moan.
The jist was, that as I am now I can cope, it's just the fact that all the time I'm getting worse. I notice little things are becoming harder. I can only wash my face with one hand now, my right hand is next to useless. In the evening my leg tremors as well, also a new development. I did feel better after having a good old moan, but always feel incredibly guilty about putting all my troubles onto my Mum. She has enough on her plate without having to listen to my tale of woe.
I mentioned all this to C., the acupuncturist, this afternoon. She said Autumn is a time of reflection. That sort of made sense as well, with all the blogging about having fun in nightclubs when I was younger. So the treatment she gave me today wasn't targeted at the disease, but at nourishing my soul.
It has seemed to help, but what was more benefical was the story of her trip to Egypt last week. I got the full uncensored version, and it had me in stitches.
I can't put down everything that she got up too, other than she got the nourishment that she's been craving because of the Autumn season as well.
