Carling Cup Second Round
Wednesday 30th Aug 2006

Ticket prices
Our Second Round Carling Cup tie away at Premiership side Watford will be played on Tuesday 19th September, kick off 7.45pm. Admission will be £10.00 for adults and £5.00 for concessions (over 65's, under 16's). Details on how to buy tickets will be announced shortly.

I know but that was put on the offical site last week and watford season ticket holders were able to buy them from the beginning of this week and they go on general sale from next monday

Didn't I see somwhere the away stand takes 5000 ? I was assuming I could safely rock up on the night and pay on the gate.

Or is the recruiting drive being spectacularly successful ?

Getting them at the gate would be preferable for those of us down south, to be honest - after all if recent tales of orders for merchandise/programs placed over a month ago, with still no sign of arriving, are anything to go by, we'd be lucky to get tickets by the time the fourth round's played...

:)

There's a thought - Can someone bring some "effing roo_s" down to sell to the effing exiles, please ?

Yep....it would be nice to know what the position is for us exiles down south. I assume that Stanley have been allocated the Vicarage Road end, (visitors) which I think seats about 5,000 or so. With the best will in the world, I can't see the shop flogging 5000 tickets between now and the 19th.

Watford is only about 15 minutes by train from central London, followed by a 15 minute walk....I know a few people who would like to go, but are not prepared to committ themselves in advance....so....can we pay on the night?
