It's been a busy few days and I feel like I need to come up for air now. Had a night round town with some of the girls for Lorraine and Tracey's birthdays. It was a good night but I was working the day after and didn't want to be rough so I took it easy, which is more than can be said for Lorraine who was well on her way to a visit from the beer fairy (and it was only 9.30pm).

Needless to say, I did feel ever so slightly jaded on Sunday but was nowhere near as hungover as I normally am after a girl's night. I finished work today and was home for 2pm after calling in at Asda on the way home. The dog was eagerly awaiting her walk and kept giving me her paw whilst I was trying to eat my dinner. I eventually let her drag me to the playing field. She bolted round like a maniac, got covered in mud and a mouthful of splinters from the stick that she was chewing.

After washing the dog and myself, doing some washing, washing up and hoovering, I went up to my dad's to deliver their Christmas pressies and have a catch up. I then went to see my friend Fiona and my goddaughter Emma with their pressies. Fiona has had a barium meal today, she said that it wasn't so bad. I reckon that I would have trouble keeping it down.......I'm very fussy about my food. Then again, given the choice, I'd rather have a barium meal than a barium enema.....:D

I am going to put my feet up tonight and chill out. I wonder if there's owt good on the telly???
