Windass & Crooks

Andy holt refusing to let them train at rangers until compo is sorted out

Fair enough that.

[AccyMad]

It is & good on him but will they not be able to do as they like come the 1st of July??

[maccawozzagod]

No. SFA need to sanction any registration and they cant do that until ASFC confirm. If they are training or playing before tbat then they aren't insured etc

[deeayess]

I would think that once their contracts are up it won't matter. The Scottish season starts on 16th July so that may be why Rangers would want them early but I doubt it will matter in the long run.

It confirms that come the 1st of July it ceases to matter. Up until then they are Accy players so Accy make the decisions.

Another nothing story about Rangers in the Scottish media

Didn't realize that Rangers signed THREE of our squad.....
Crooks, Windass and COMPO!!!!!
ps. Has COMPO taken his WELLIES with him?

[choirboy]

I don't think that we should let COMPO go!
He could be the eleventh player in our squad for next season!

Nah, Compo can go but I hope we hang on to Clegg. Definitely the better player of the two

[deeayess]

And hopefully he's not the Last of the Summer Sign....

[Chewbacca]

There won't be a cent of compo for Crooks due to the age we signed him, and are due around 52.500 euros for Windy in training fees.

[cashman]

Its sorted now they can go train wi rangers.

Well if that is the case, then i think it will be a good while before he gets a game.

he,s correct about the standard of scots top flight against div.2. definately more football played and less kicking sides about which will suite josh as his defensive game still leaves a lot to be desired. could end up an impact sub like shay mccarten. think he will be ok unlike some who i think are hopeing he,ll fall flat on his face.

[cashman]

I dont think he will fall flat on his face, think hes still a lot to do to progress.

[Exile on Spencer St]

If he has no residual problem with his recent injury, I wouldn't be surprised if Crooks proves the better buy for the 'Gers.

[football19]

Windass will be a sensation, expect him to excel and be playing at least championship level in two years

[AccyMad]

Hope they both do well, certainly wouldn't want either of them to fall flat on their face - specially Josh, he'd just end up looking like his old man
