flashy, i would have nabbed it, do you not wish you had now??
Can't believe you'd do that, Panther. Would you really steal money from someone just because of their stupidity??

flashy, i would have nabbed it, do you not wish you had now??

In Flashy's case, in earlier years, I would have, and have, done the same. However, your putting alot of trust in the person you give that money to rather then the company they work for.
I would be daft to think that 135 quid was mine to keep. I would have alerted the bank to the error.

, but also have the money to pay back.

I think that about 'sums' it up, there is a big difference between the two, right is right wrong is always wrong. this young lady knew the money was not hers, a calculated mistake, with the benefit of hindsight she may have been well rewarded, but most importantly she would have her good name intact.Sad that you have to think that way these days isn't it?
When I worked in a bank there used to be a standard joke that you could leave any amount of money lying around and it would stay exactly where you left it but put a pen down and you'd never see it again.

I know as a man of principle it wouldn't affect your actions, but the amount was actually £135,000. In your Micky Mouse money over quarter of a million dollars.![]()
.Aw Rindy, I knew it was that big of a number. I was so concern with not having that little pound symbol on my keyboard, I just wanted to spell quid right. And actually, with the weakeness of the $$$$$$$$$ it amounts to ~$171,435.

a few years ago i was in manchester, me n reece had just got off the metro on market street and where heading for primark, we went by a cash machine and there was some money just coming out of it, obviously the person who had wanted the cash had forgot it, it turned out to be £350 i told reece to get it and we took it straight back into the bank, i gave it to a cashier in the bank and told them what had happened, and all i got was 'oh' no thankyou or anything, i still dont know if the person it belonged to ever got it back, but at least my concience was clear

LancYorkYankee, sure you have the £ symbol on your keyboard. Hold down the alt key while pressing 0163 on the right hand numeral board and the £ will be there.
, ok next question where is where do I find the Euro key ? 'When I realised how much money was in my account I felt nervous, numb, sick,' she said. 'All it said on the statement was "account adjustment" and I didn't touch the money for a day.
'The day after the money had gone into my account, I went in to the bank and drew out £500. They should have realised then that it was their money.
Over the following fortnight, Lee helped herself to £33,000, spending much of it at sex shop chains, Simply Pleasure and Ann Summers.

Over the next few weeks the 20-year-old lived like a lottery winner, blowing almost all of the money the bank had put in her account in error.
She booked a £10,000 holiday to Florida, bought thousands of pounds worth of luxury goods, took out nearly £5,000 in cash and allegedly gave away almost £100,000.
Brian , Its good you dont work in a Bank, actually its $271,435![]()
