The titles from the pool match tell u more about that later!

Anyway what have i been doing - Thursday was our last Summer Pool league match for Hyndburn. We got beat 5-4 against the Railway at Hapton. Well they are top of the division them r their a team. Got a text message from my bro - he got tickets to Burnley on Friday. So Friday night saw me sitting in the Bob Lord Stand watching Burnley. Bro is a Rovers supporter and u should have seen him cheering Burnley on! He was halfway along the row when they scored! Saturday - went to the meet! Entwisi offered to pick me up and we'd share a taxi him Julie & me. Makes sense because we were coming from same direction - im just a bit further up the road than them. Anyway had a good time got home about 12.30am. Sunday i made the salt dough bats, witches and spiders for my nieces kids halloween party. They take about 6 hours to bake so i was up in the middle of the night to take them out and put the ones i couldnt get in the oven to stick them in. Sunday night had a visitor that didnt arrive till 3am - and left at quarter to 6! Monday when i eventually woke up i rang my niece up to find out what time the party was. It was at 3pm so i wandered down about 1.45 taking 11 witches, 15 spiders and 15 bats down to her house. When the kids started arriving i left her to it - i did my time helping sis with her halloween parties and birthday parties and christmas parties for her kids. Thinking about them gives me nice thoughts - scared the living daylights out of my sisters kids one halloween! Anyway when i left there i rang sis and thought i could scrounge a lift home - she only lives 5 mins away from my niece. She was home and said come for tea so i did do. Said its Pool night and i have to be in the pub at 7.45 she said she'd drop me off at the same time she took her youngest to cadets. They were having a halloween party and a few years ago when Scream 1st came out she bought the eldest a scream outfit for a halloween party so the youngest wore it on Monday night to their party. Monday night Pool night. I was tired from the night before and was after falling asleep. Anyway i got handed the card to write my name on when we were getting beat 3-2. A singles match! I'm tired and just wanted to fall asleep and i was playing a young lad as well. His mates who had been sitting in the corner with him came to watch him. I let him break - and then tried to get one in bottom corner - typical didnt go in and after that went down hill. Anyway it ended i had 4 balls left to pot and he had the black which was over the pocket and he couldnt pot it - it just kept rebounding! Mind you his mates werent helping him either - they kept on telling him to tap it - trying to get 2 shots on the black but me just kept going and it ended up i managed to get pot all of mine and the black was over the pocket and nicely lined up! Potted the black and the white hit the cushion thats what i was dreading after managing to pot em all and the black the white following it in especially cos the white was dead straight on for the pocket! So it was 3-3 - and we won the match 6-3. The A team came back they'd got beat down at Bash con 6-3. They were winning 3-0 when 2 of them left - theyd already played their games! Also in the pub we had a league table for the bash league. We were 3 above our a team. We are even further up than them now!!! Crowing and bragging rights to the b team again.
Another one - theres normally a bonfire up here and fireworks on bonfire night. This year there isnt one. The person who owns the field said yes you can hold a bonfire - but you will need to get public liability insurance for it. You wont be covered on my insurance. He tells them that with 6 weeks to go. So the pub looked into how much it would cost. The cheapest one they could find was £500. Now we know the pub would probably cover that on the night but there are other things going on. So they said no. Sign went up in the pub last week saying it is fly tipping and there will be no bonfire and fireworks on bonfire night. The bonfire that was there my niece said that the fire brigade came and set fire to it on Tuesday so thats where its gone.
